  I have never had such a horrible math teacher. He does not provide any teaching material and expects you to teach yourself. There is a limit to homework question attemps unlike other classes where it was unlimited. Tests are very difficult and timed, both tests so far i've run out of time to complete. Late replies, no help, arrogant. Never again.

  Terrible teacher. very rude Replies late to emails and is especially inconsiderate of his students problems. He does not allow extensions for anything and instead blames you for being "ignorant". Honestly I put my time and money in learning. Circ*mstances come up in which you are not able to meet deadlines but this man is very arrogant.

  Very RUDE teacher worst teacher ever He did not answer any of my questions and he gives WAY too much Homework and will not give an extensions on Homework or Tests. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS UNLESS YOU WANT AN "F" AS AN OVERALL GRADE!!!!!!!!!!

  Dr. Coleman was responsive and answered all my questions. everything is submitted electronically but you HAVE to write down all of the homework and keep it for the exams. The questions come right from the homework but the electronic version locks when the exam is posted. Final is cumulative - took 4 hours. You put in the work, you'll do fine.

  Every week thro WebAssign 6-7 hw assignments that ranged between 10-20 questions each. End of the week he would email you the test is posted, on WebAssign and you have 5 days to complete it. That's the only communication w/ him. Does not do lectures or teach & did not respond to any of my emails. Test questions are hw questions w/ different numbers

  Worst teacher Ever!!! He lectured the whole classs then you only had 10 mins left in the class to try and complete a worksheet and every time i had a question he always had an attitude and he does not care about you failing or passing i basically had to teach myself till i got so frustrating and withdrawn. Do NOT take his class!!.

  Mr. Coleman makes the effort. He is a straight to the point kind of guy, which is what I Love about him. You know the assignments and due dates. Exams aren't difficult if you study. So study and know your stuff. If you need help just ask. He does talk fast sometimes, but overall this is your math guy.

  Not a good teacher. Reads straight from the book and writes it on the board. That's how he teaches and it's ineffective. Students already have the book and we know how to read. Doesn't even elaborate and explain topics, just straight word for word from the book. Does practice problems on the board and constantly is wrong and corrected by students

  Dont ever expect to learn a method of solving problems including a calculator. Almost all work is hand-written and about as long as it can possibly be. Very mundane and often messes up practice problems during class which will force him to stand in front of the class questioning the exact thing he just taught.

  I had professor Coleman for two math courses. Awesome teacher. He answers all questions and makes time for one on one tutoring. He also provides study guides for all tests. Communication is also never a problem, always answers emails. If I could have taken him a third time I would have. One downside he doesn't use the book. Save your money.

  An extremely fair teacher. Answers everyone's questions thoroughly, no matter how stupid the questions are. Tests are the only things that count. Gives detailed test review sheets in class and posts them online. He will grill you for details on the tests; you gotta write lim- , the integral sign, and "dx" on every step or else you'll lose points

  I had Coleman for Business Calculus. Very old school and bare bones style teaching method. The only things that count for grades are tests. If you expect to pass you better do all the assigned homework on time and come to every class. It is Calculus after all. He explains things thoroughly and goes through plenty of examples of problems in class.

  I undervalued this class when I was in it. It was a summer class and 3 hour stretches of math are nearly unbearable, but now that I'm in 108 I realize how great his pacing was, how thoroughly he explained concepts, and how useful it was. He never made me feel incapable and it seemed too easy. Having it drilled in was the best thing he could've done

  He is a good teacher. but he isn't very helpful outside of class and when I asked a question in class he made me feel like dumb. No extra credit. if you skip class and don't do the homework don't expect to pass.
